Minister of Labor and Social Policy Jagoda Shahpaska met Thursday with Czech Ambassador Miroslav Toman, discussing the bilateral agreement on social insurance but also cooperation in other areas, such as human rights’ protection, marginalized groups, strengthening of social dialogue, labor market and employment policies.
“Czech support to North Macedonia’s Euro-Atlantic path is of enormous importance, through every project, experience, assistance,” said Minister Shahpaska.
Shahpaska and Toman referred to the countries’ experiences in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and ways for easier overcoming of the post-crisis period, with the former mentioning the Government’s five sets of economic measures as support to the businesses and citizens, with an accent on the most affected sectors and groups of citizens.
Several digitization projects have been put forward, aimed to support the education of marginalized groups, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy said in a press release.
