Ministers signed Tuesday several bilateral cooperation agreements in various fields, in the framework of the joint session of the governments of North Macedonia and Bulgaria, MIA reports from Sofia.
Minister of Transport and Communications Blagoj Bochvarski and Bulgarian counterpart Nikolay Sabev signed two documents that strengthen bilateral infrastructure networking – on railway Corridor VIII and Sofia-Skopje flight.
More specifically, the ministers signed a memorandum on the Skopje-Sofia railway networking by setting up a joint working group, for the purpose of speeding up the construction of railway Corridor VIII, and the Initiative over the launch of Sofia-Skopje flight.
Bochvarski and Sabev also signed a Memorandum on liberalization of commodities to and from third countries. In addition, countries’ Agriculture Ministers Ljupcho Nikolovski and Ivan Ivanov signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of agriculture, agrarian sciences, rural regions and forestry, whereas Economy Ministers Kreshnik Bekteshi and Daniel Lorer signed a MoU between North Macedonia’s Agency for Promotion of Entrepreneurship (APPRM) and the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (IANMSP).
