Nationwide delivery of Serbian sunflower oil is expected to start Monday, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy told MIA.
On Friday, Serbia decided to export cooking oil to North Macedonia. The country will import around 2 million liters of sunflower seed oil, according to Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy Ljupcho Nikolovski. He said the quantity was a one-month supply of cooking oil.
He also mentioned the possibility of importing more oil. “It is possible, if there is a need, for us to decide to import additional quantities. We are monitoring the situation and are in continuous communication with the Serbian authorities,” Minister Nikolovski said.
