Since the first monkeypox case was identified in Serbia on June 12, the country has confirmed 31 monkeypox infections through Aug. 17, Serbian health authorities said, MIA informs.
According to MIA’s Belgrade correspondent citing data released by the Public Health Institute of Serbia, all patients are male, aged 21 to 44. Most of them are from Belgrade (27 cases).
Three of the people infected with monkeypox are in hospital. The others are recovering at home.
