NOA: Who are the “masks” in Kosovo who are stirring up the Balkans?
“Armed and masked persons for several days now have been shooting at police officers and officials of EULEX, but also terrorizing the residents of the four northern municipalities of Kosovo.
These persons remain unknown to security authorities, at least for now, as officially it is not known whether any of them have been arrested.
But who are the people hiding behind the masks?”, is pointed out in NOA.
GAZETA SHQIP: European Court of Human Rights fines Albania with 25 thousand euros
“The European Court of Human Rights has given the right to former prosecutor Antoneta Sevdari, who opposed the dismissal of the vetting.
She took the case to the European Court of Human Rights along with her colleagues, who oppose the dismissal. The Court’s decision says that the dismissal of Sevdari has a procedural violation and that the dismissal was not proportionate. As a result, the Albanian state will have to compensate 24,600 euros.
Sevdari was dismissed on February 24 by KPA with a majority of votes, after the decision for her confirmation by the Independent Qualification Commission was appealed by the Public Commissioner”, reports Gazeta Shqip.
BOTA SOT: Ethnic minorities – a bridge of friendship or the “apple of discord” of the Balkans
“The international factor has enough facts from the past and with the greatest determination we should never allow further bloodshed and new wars in the Balkans, which are threatened by the pretext of an “alliance” that suppresses the hegemonic tendency of Serbia. They have the support of international laws (even when referring to an “alliance”), they have the military power, they have the support of the secular democratic opinion. Any country that incites war and promotes war is a subject of these arguments. History has proven that the Balkan wars have caused consequences and a basis for world war, where multiple factors foresaw the benefits of war and entered the world war, or there were also others who unintentionally were involved in the war”, an excerpt of the column Ethnic minorities – a bridge of friendship or the “apple of discord” of the Balkans by Prof. Zija Leshi published in Bota Sot.
