KOHA: All eyes on the French-German relationship
“Regardless of how that conflict will unfold, it has come to irreversible loss of trust between Europe and Russia. Putin’s aggression profoundly changed the strategic calculus and created conditions for a new kind of Cold War in Central and Eastern Europe. His Russia represents a foreseeable long-term threat that will force the EU and its member states to invest much more in the ability to defend themselves, their liberal democratic systems and their principles by military means. In short, the EU must transform into a sovereign geopolitical player with its own preventive military capability to protect its interests”, is written among else in the column by Joschka Fischer “All eyes on the French-German relationship”.
BOTA SOT: Decisive duel between Kurti and Vucic?
“The question is raised whether Vucic is interested in a solution? Anyone would answer, no. If he would have wanted a solution, there is nothing to discuss about such a thing. Things are quite clear.
Vucic wants to attract attention with the pomp of his propaganda: Kurti is seeking conflict, while Kosovo is not prepared for a compromise. And the compromise according to Vucic would be the Association with executive authorizations, nothing less”, writes Sherif Ramabaja in the column “Decisive duel between Alban Kurti and Vucic?”.
ALMAKOS: Alliance for Albanians before a historic decision
“Between the two option this party has, to refuse participation in the government or to become part of it. Both options carry benefits, but risks as well. However, the war in Ukraine, the energy crisis, but also the economic one, require a stable government, with responsible cadre, and not new elections that cost the state budget and the citizens millions of euros. Therefore, taking into consideration all these developments, the situation necessarily imposes the Alliance to enter this government, so frankly speaking the “Alliance has to say YES to the government”, is written in the editorial “The Alliance for Albanians before a historic decision“.
