RTK: Osmani: We chose Europe, because we are Europe

“The Republic of Kosovo has today formally applied for EU membership, fulfilling the dream and aspiration of our people to see us part of the European Union family”, wrote on Twitter the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, who on Thursday evening published the official document of the application for EU membership, reports Kosovo media outlet RTK.

Osmani said that Kosovo chose Europe, because Kosovo is Europe.

BALKAN WEB – Majko: Serbia wants to be “Yugoslavia” from Resolution 1244

Former Minister for Diaspora Pandeli Majko joined the reactions against the statement of President Aleksandar Vucic that he will deploy Serbian troops in the north of Kosovo.

According to Majko, Serbia wants to be “Yugoslavia” from Resolution 1244 and negotiate for what it lost at the International Court.

The demands for deploying Serbian troops in Kosovo is an undeclared conflict.

RADIO FREE EUROPE: Trajkovic says that the Serbian police do not allow her to cross into Merdare

Nenad Rasic, stated on Friday that Serbian police do not allow Rada Trajkovic, advisor to the Minister for Communities and Returns in the Government of Kosovo, to enter Serbia.

She was stopped at the border point between Kosovo and Serbia, Merdare, for the first time on December 15 when she tried to enter Kosovo and again after she tried to leave this country, reports Radio Free Europe.
