The anniversary of the death of Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg, the commemorations and tribute with the new policy of the Albanian Minister of Education and SportEvisKushi, the national anthem to be sung every Monday before classes in all schools, the campaign of Kosovo diplomats for protecting the recognition of the state, are just part of the selection of the editorial office of CIVIL Media for today’s AL-PRESS.

TV KLAN –  555 years of the death of the national hero Scanderbeg –  Kushi: Every Monday, classes will start with the Anthemof the Flag

“On the 555th anniversary of the death of the national hero Gjergj Kastrioti – Scanderbeg, the Minister of Education and Sport of the Republic of Albania, Evis Kushi, published a video made by different schools in the 12 regions of the country.

Kushi announced that starting from next week, the Anthem of the Flag will be sung every Monday in all schools before the start of classes”, reports Albanian TV Klan.

GAZETA EXPRESS: Kosovo in a campaign for protecting the recognition of the state

“Kosovo diplomats are intensifying meetings with their counterparts from countries for which Serbia claims have withdrawn their recognition of Kosovo.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at the beginning of January said that nine countries had withdrawn their recognition of Kosovo and that they are waiting for the tenth country, without specifying which country this was”, reports Kosovo media outlet Gazeta Express.

RADIO KOSOVA E LIRE: The preparation of the draft bylaw of the Association of municipalities with Serb majority has finalized

“The preparation of the draft bylaw of the Association of municipalities with Serb majority has finalized. This was announced for Radio Kosova by the spokesperson of the German institute “Friedrich Ebert Foundation”,  Rene Schle, reports Kosovo media outlet Radio Kosova e Lire.

GAZETA EXPRESS: Kosovo outside the context of the Albanian nationalism

“If we don’t treat the Kosovo issue from the perspective of the nationalist doctrine, as an “Albanian issue”, but at the level of liberal ideas and human rights, it turns out that it is luckily a solved issue. The way the US and the West treat it, a “success story”, an excerpt of the column “Kosovo outside the context of the Albanian nationalism”, by Halil Matoshi, published in the Kosovo media outlet Gazeta Express.
