Russian forces have launched air strikes on the positions of the Ukrainian military near Zaporizhzhia. The defense forces of the Zaporizhzhia region said this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“The enemy launched two air strikes on the positions of Ukraine’s defenders. Su-25 aircraft and two Mi-8 helicopters ‘worked’ near Kamianske and Mali Shcherbaky. A pair of Ka-52 helicopters struck the settlements of Temyrivka and Zelene Pole,” the statement said.

On June 13, Ukrainian positions came under fire 34 times along the line of contact near the settlements of Kamianske, Huliaipole, Vremivka, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv, Malynivka, Chervone, Novosilka, Huliaipilske, Mali Shcherbaky, Zelene Pole, Uspenivka, Temyrivka and Olhivske.

The enemy used Grad multiple rocket launchers to fire at the settlements of Malynivka, Temyrivka and Uspenivka. The settlements of Poltavka, Vremivka and Bilohiria came under tank fire.

According to the statement, Russian invaders struck civilian infrastructure and peaceful households. The village of Novomykolaivka and the town of Huliaipole, Polohy district, came under fire in the past 24 hours.

There were 17 reports of residential houses (apartments) and infrastructure destroyed by Russian shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, the districts of Vasylivka, Polohy (except Orikhiv and Huliaipole), Berdiansk and Melitopol remain temporarily occupied.
