The Russian military fired on civilians, who were trying to leave Chernihiv city on foot.             

Mayor of Koriukivka in Chernihiv region, Ratan Ahmedov, wrote this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“Today, orcs fired on civilians (mostly women with children), who were leaving Chernihiv on foot. There are killed and wounded, and we have losses among our compatriots. A young man, who was walking to Koriukivka with his mother, died,” Ahmedov wrote.

As reported, Head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration Viacheslav Chaus said that the humanitarian corridor from Chernihiv was not provided, as fighting has not stopped along the road to Kyiv.
