Speaking about the case “Imperia” in which one of the defendants is the businessman Jordan Kamchev as well as the case “Plots on Vodno” because of which he remained in custody despite the offered guarantee in cooking and in real estate, the prosecutor Vilma Ruskovska is adamant that he will remain in custody, Sloboden Pecat informs.
– The defense politicized the case by calling international observers. I personally have not been pressured by anyone. I talked to the prosecutor about the case and she is absolutely certain that if Kamchev was released from custody he would escape, said the head of the Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption during a visit to the Utrinski briefing.
Regarding the cases in which the former Minister of Transport Mile Janakieski is accused, the prosecution said that there are indications for his escape.
– We have a first instance verdict of 6 years and 3 months. There are cases in which he is accused and they are in the final stage. Imagine if he was found guilty of half of those cases. “My impression is that if I got another verdict, I would run away,” Ruskovska said.
