Western Balkans Circular Economy Week 2024
This year’s theme for Circular Economy Week is “Sustainable Bridges: Unite, Uplift, Upcycle,” taking place from May 27 to 31. Organizations from the Western Balkans, members of the LogEx community, are organizing a multitude of parallel activities to promote good practices and knowledge related to the challenges and perspectives of the circular economy in the region.
The regional initiative of the LogEx community – established by the Balkan Forum – aims to revolutionize the Western Balkans’ approach to sustainable development by promoting circular economy practices. By bringing together different actors, including academia, civil society organizations, media, businesses, and experts, Circular Economy Week aims to promote inter-sectoral and regional cooperation, which are essential for fostering significant and positive changes in the region.
