Radev and Grlic Radman were unanimous that in the interest of the stability of the Balkans, the European perspective of the countries of the region is of key importance, but with fulfilment of all criteria for enlargement.
President Radev assessed as alarming the cases of discrimination and systematic violation of human rights of citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia with Bulgarian self-awareness. He expressed support for their desire to be included among the parts of the nations included in the preamble of the Constitution of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as their expectations for objective reflection of the results of the census.
-For us, it is important for hatred not to be instilled among the youth of the Republic of North Macedonia towards the Bulgarians, said the President of Bulgaria and gave an example with the textbooks in the country, where there is still distorted interpretation of Bulgaria and Bulgarians.
Rumen Radev and Gordan Grlic Radman concluded that the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Croatia are excellent and that there are opportunities for expanding the cooperation in fields of mutual interest, as well as in the close cultural-historical heritage.
