An additional COVID-19 testing site opens on Tuesday as part of the Institute for Public Health, in order to speed up the testing process, the Ministry of Health said in a press release.
Launching the new testing site will increase the number of tests carried out per day to 1,000, 150 more than before.
The Institute for Public Health, the press release added, has sufficient amount of tests and has epidemiologists working in two shifts.
Some 350 tests more will be performed daily in North Macedonia: 100 through the Public Health Center, 100 though the Kozle lab, in addition to the previously mentioned 150 thought the Public Health Institute.
“Additional tests significantly increase testing capacity and will allow for up to 2,000 tests to be performed through public health facilities,” the press release read.
