NEWS OF THE DAY: Zaev submits to Parliament proposed composition of the new government and its program
SDSM President Zoran Zaev today at 11.00 am submitted the proposal for the composition of the new government and the program for its work.
“Today I have submitted to Parliament a proposal for the composition of the new government of the Republic of North Macedonia and a program for its work. At the elections, the citizens confirmed their direction and position that today we are translating into specific cadre and program. Macedonian citizens will receive a responsible government that will guarantee continuity in realizing the strategic priorities, NATO membership, EU negotiations, good neighbourly relations… Today, as PM-designate, I have submitted to Parliament a proposal for a government that is prepared to work for a full 4-year mandate. Together with me are 19 ministers with whom we commit to work even harder and better”, said Zaev.

submitting the proposal for a new government to the Parliament, announced such a solution, which the technical government led by Oliver Spasovski had adopted in the meanwhile.

The Network for Protection against Discrimination demands from Parliament for the election of the Ombudsman to be one of the priorities of the new parliamentary composition, for it to be conducted in a transparent and fair process of selection of candidates, free from influence of political parties and for a competent and appropriate candidate to be elected.
