President Stevo Pendarovski signed on Monday the decree promulgating the law on 2021 census of population, households and dwellings in the Republic of North Macedonia.
The President, his office said in a press release, signed the decree after consulting with legal experts.
Pendarovski, the press release read, expressed expectations that the census process will not to be politicized and that the data obtained will be useful for the country’s overall development, enabling establishment of long-term strategies in key areas.
Parliament on January 21, passed the law on 2021 census of population, households and dwellings in North Macedonia after 62 MPs voted in favor with none abstaining or against.
