The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, with Decree number 556/2023 has awarded Xhabir Deralla with an Order of Merits, CIVILannounced today. With the same Decree, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, as well as world-famous actors Alain Delon and Catherine Deneuve have also been awarded with an Order of Merits.
On the list of those who have received this high state recognition from the President of Ukraine are also a number of political, scientific and social figures from across the world.
“I experience this recognition as confirmation for my work and my commitment to exposing the truth about the tragic consequences of the brutal Russian aggression against democratic and freedom-loving Ukraine, as opposed to the fierce propaganda with disinformation from which our society also suffers. I would like for it to be known that I consider this high, and for me precious recognition as a merit and recognition for all my colleagues in CIVIL, as a civil society organization and as a media platform, as well as in Frontline, where I am the editor. This high honor, President of Ukraine, is our joint merit! Slava Ukraini!“, said Deralla in front of his colleagues, who gathered to congratulate their colleague.
More details about the official awarding of the honors are expected in the beginning of November.
