During the poll, respondents were asked to choose an optimistic or pessimistic scenario of Ukraine’s future. Of those who opted for the optimistic scenario of the future, 63% fully agree with the idea of a prosperous country within the EU, and another 26% say they rather agree, news.yahoo.com informs.
A mere 5% of those polled chose the pessimistic scenario. They believe that in a decade, Ukraine will be a devastated country facing brain drain.
In terms of age, the absolute majority of pollees in all age groups are optimistic about the future of Ukraine. Among respondents aged 18-29, this indicator stands at 94%.
Respondents who are optimistic about the future of Ukraine in ten years were asked an additional question about their willingness to endure financial challenges for three to five years in order to achieve a positive result in the future.
As many as 96% responded in the affirmative if Ukraine’s future is prosperous and it is a member of the EU.
