Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived on a two-day official visit to the country, during which he will meet with his host, President Stevo Pendarovski, and is scheduled to meet with Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi and Prime Minister Zoran Zaev.
President Duda was welcomed at the Skopje Airport by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Bujar Osmani.
This visit is a confirmation of the traditional friendship between Northern Macedonia and Poland, which has recently been strengthened with our NATO alliance. We especially appreciate the sincere support for the European integration of our country, through which we strengthen our friendly ties, Osmani wrote on his Facebook profile after Duda’s welcome.
Tomorrow, the Polish President will be welcomed with the highest state and military honors in Villa Vodno by his host, the President of the Republic of Northern Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski.
The two presidents are scheduled to hold a tete-a-tete meeting, followed by a plenary meeting of the two delegations. Pendarovski and Duda will attend and address the Macedonian Business Forum to be held at the Marriott Hotel. The two presidents will also lay wreaths at the grave of Goce Delchev in the church “St. Spas”.
