Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said Friday reforms in elementary education are necessary and they will result from a wide-range debate among all stakeholders, leading to the best model in the interest of the children and the country.
“The debate is set to begin, the reforms are based on the Finnish model,” PM Zaev told reporters in Resen.
The debate will include the opinions of all stakeholders – experts, employees, academia, parents.
“We need to focus our education on the things that children need, through social activities, enriching their repertoire of knowledge,” said Zaev.
He expressed assurance that the best model would result from an open debate.
