Prime Minister Zoran Zaev on the occasion of the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha, Qurban Bayram has sent greetings to the Head of the Islamic Religious Community, Reis ul-Ulema H. Hfz. Shaqir ef. Fetahu and to all citizens of Islamic faith in North Macedonia.
Zaev wishes the faithful to spend the holiday filled with the spirit of patience, generosity, mutual respect, understanding and solidarity, his office said in a press release.
Qurban Bayram, he said, reminds us of the essence of human existence, the invaluable thing for all of us, to care for our health and the health of our loved ones.
“Let the holiday encourage everyone to get vaccinated in great numbers since it is the most effective means to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and to protect ourselves as quickly as possible in order to overcome its consequences,” PM Zaev stated.
