The process of regulating the arrival of the Chinese COVID-19 vaccines is under way, which are expected in the country by the end of February, announced PM Zoran Zaev.
“It has been promised that the Chinese vaccines would arrive by the end of February. While the 4,680 vaccines are being administered, donated by the Serbian people yesterday, the remaining doses are set to arrive and in the meantime, the Chinese vaccines will be delivered, too, allowing the process to be uninterrupted,” Zaev told a news conference answering journalist questions.
The Serbian people, he added, once again demonstrated their friendship with many, including President Aleksandar Vucic, PM Ana Brnabic, Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar, spending days to make it possible the Pfizer vaccines to be delivered, which is the first batch handed over to the friendly Macedonian nation.
“I’m very thankful. Friendship policies are one of the main features of the government and thanks to these policies, we have friends in need,” he said.
Zaev denied making comments calling President Vucic a nationalist. “I’ve always respected the policies of all neighbors and all partners of the country,” he told a news conference on Monday after the signing of a grant for renewable sources for energy transition.
