“We should continuously affirm civil society to be a society for all, rather than a civil society that many perceive as separate circles that exist for themselves,” said MA Milan Petkovski, President of the Macedonian Occupational Safety and Health Association, at a panel CIVIL discussion on “What is the role of civil society organizations in socio-political processes?”.
“The civil sector is the one that brings to the surface the things where the state fails and creates gray zones and tries to help solve the problem.”
“The civil society sector is needed because it gathers the intelligence of the society, but often for lucrative reasons the civil society sector enters the wrong doors to implement policy,” he added.
