President Stevo Pendarovski expressed his deepest condolences to the families of those killed and injured in a car accident that happened last night in Bulgaria.

“In these difficult moments, I express my deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of all persons and our fellow citizens who lost their lives and were injured in a horrific car accident that occurred on the territory of neighboring Bulgaria,” Pendarovski wrote on his Facebook profile.

He expects the authorities to conduct a full investigation, to determine the causes and responsibility for the tragedy, which, as he states, is not remembered in our recent history.

– In the days of mourning that follow, I wish a peaceful peace to the souls of the dead and faster recovery of the injured, writes Pendarovski.
