Traffic police officers managed to find and seize over 26 thousand pieces of pyrotechnics this morning at the toll station near Tetovo Жelino. The pyrotechnics were found in the possession of a 53-year-old resident of Skopje, who was detained.
– Police officers of the SIA Tetovo-Police Station for Road Traffic Safety Tetovo today (December 16) around 7 o’clock, during a planned control, and after previous operatively confirmed information, at the toll station Zelino, arrested NI (53 ) from Skopje. During the inspection of the vehicle driven by “Fiat Doblo”, with Skopje license plates, owned by a Skopje company, 26.540 various firecrackers and other pyrotechnics and 77 kilograms of tobacco were found in the vehicle, informs the spokesman of the SIA Tetovo, Marjan Josifoski.
The found was photo-documented and confiscated for expertise, and N.I. was detained at the Tetovo Police Station for clearing up and documenting the case, after which appropriate submissions will be prepared against him.
