At the meeting, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs, Osmani expressed satisfaction with the approach that this advisory board of the Union has towards the Western Balkan countries, considering the region as a key geo-strategic point of Europe, and the enlargement process, investment in peace, stability, security and economic growth for the entire continent.
Osmani and Scweng also exchanged views about the plans for reactivation of the work of the EU-North Macedonia Joint Consultative Committee, which is exceptionally important for the dialogue of North Macedonia with the EU in the socio-economic sphere, and will have an important role in the course of the negotiation process as well.
The interlocutors, is said in the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussed also the Western Balkans Civil Society Forum that is being held in Skopje this year, with the goal for the adopted recommendation from the Forum to be presented at the EU-WB summit in Slovenia next week.
