According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release, Osmani and Escobar expressed satisfaction that the Strategic Dialogue between North Macedonia and the United States was already producing results from the US grants toward strengthening North Macedonia’s rule of law, culture and defense.
This developing cooperation is yet another confirmation of the long-standing alliance and strong strategic partnership between the two countries, the release notes.
At the meeting, Osmani said the government was committed to strengthening the reform processes and guaranteeing the democratic progress and prosperity of our country with the support of the Strategic Dialogue.
“We are grateful for the continuous American support over the years, especially for our European integration process that is essential for overall regional stability,” Osmani said.
At the same time, the release adds, Osmani and Escobar reaffirmed the joint commitment of the two countries to the defense of modern democratic principles and values within NATO, expressing support for Ukraine and strongly condemning the Russian military invasion of the country.
