Russian forces killed one civilian and injured two others in Donetsk region on August 23. Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
“On August 23, Russians killed one civilian in Donetsk region – in Bakhmut. Two more people were injured,” he wrote.
Overall, a total of 759 civilians have been killed and 1,952 injured in Donetsk region since the Russian full-scale invasion started.
The regional governor noted that it is currently impossible to determine the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
