In front of a full conference hall with representatives of the Municipality of Ohrid, Council members, managers of public enterprises and regional offices of state institutions, political party activists, media and the citizens of Ohrid, CIVIL presented the Project “Free Elections for Free Citizens”.

During the Meeting with the citizens on the topic “All for Free Elections”, a debate was initiated on the political crisis and on the conditions for holding elections in Republic of Macedonia.  Although at times the debate was fierce and antagonized, the debate was nevertheless decent and was carried out in a democratic spirit.

The Municipality of Ohrid provided excellent conditions for this event, while the Ohrid media, without exception, covered the event in a very professional manner.
