OPINION
Macron in Trump’s and Putin’s embrace
“By the way, this ‘little Schengen’ irresistibly reminds me of a Quasimodo-Yugoslavian idea that after the fall of Yugoslavia was strongly promoted here by Srgjan Kerim, with emphasized French-Serbian support. At that time, such persistence created certain confusions even with Gligorov. I really am curious what structures are around Zaev that are now “warming” him up for a similar idea? (Is my memory not that great or didn’t Zaev have an apocryphal meeting with Kerim recently in the US…?), writes Ordanoski.
Gypsies falling out of the sky
“A day or two ago, really ugly news came out in the media. About discriminatory insults against an entire ethnic community of ours. Someone out there in those educational corridors, or someone out there has deliberately planted contents in which the Roma are called Gypsies. And if it were only that. But also that they are liars, lazybones, slackers. And that they are filthy, beggars, homeless, bums, thieves. A picturesque content noted, but literate, let’s say in a kind of an artistic creation. In “Macedonian humorous folk tales”. What nice humor, in some kind of school reading a hundred years ago. Mocking laughter for eleven, twelve-year-old children. And education selectors have really nailed the choice. Real educational hit. So discriminatory, disparaging, humiliating, traumatic”, writes Zoran Ivanov.
They themselves will sink in the decay of time
“That struggle with time and with people’s memories of what criminal minds are doing is useless. These are dark characters that we see everywhere around us and every day, people whose sole purpose is to get rich and to escape from their well-deserved punishment. No single price, no single sacrifice is high for them, not even the lives and dignity of people, not even the dignity and progress of the country, not even its survival. They work persistently on destroying the country for which they say they would die for, taking selfies with three little fingers, and whining and begging in courtrooms, making excuses that they had only carryied water…”, writes Xhabir Deralla.
