Through strengthened regional cooperation to a higher standard, EU membership remains imperative for the Western Balkans

The initiative for regional cooperation that was promoted by the leaders of Macedonia, Serbia and Albania, assessed as “Little Schengen’, does not mean deviation from the European integrations, rather commitments for joint engagement for facilitating all border procedures, with the purpose of facilitating the flow of capital, goods, services and movement of people. The leaders of the Western Balkans estimate that the region should enable this not only for fulfilling the European criteria within the framework of the European integration, but even more so for improving the trade, goods and business-idea exchange, freedom of movement of people and workforce, all in the direction of creating conditions for improving the standard of the citizens who live in this part of Europe.

Macron and Vucic, two hearts!

by: Saso Ordanoski

When Vucic, as he announced at the Summit in Ohrid, offers to mediate with Macron in order for us to find out what’s on the French President’s mind regarding the fate of Macedonia’s European perspective, it’s like when the weasel promises you that it will negotiate with the fox for the safety of the eggs in Zaev’s hen house.

There will be feathers flying all around; a finger-licking good omelet!

Dehran Muratov in cooperation with: Angela Petrovska, Saso Ordanoski and Diana Tahiri
