Dz.K (68), A.K (44), Sh.K (39) and E.U are the people who in MOI’s report are suspected as possible offenders for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in care of a public care institution, whose life story has shaken the entire public.
According to MOI’s report, criminal charges have been filed against these persons, but there will also be a criminal charge for other persons filed to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
In lack of answers and concrete action by the institutions so far, we have tried to find out whether any of these initials match people who have already been convicted of pedophilia. And, naturally, we searched the online registry of pedophiles, which of course, is not working. Just like everything else in our country! From what you can see when you search the website www.registarnapedofili.mk, according to our modest knowledge, the problem is probably in that the agreement with the server has expired, for which 3-4 hours are needed for its renewal or transfer, and a day or two to create it once again if they
have all the information at hand. With such a machinery in charge of the image of the institutions on websites and social networks, they probably have still not found the right person to take care of this problem.
This registry was opened in 2012 by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, and according to information we came to, it has not been functioning for several years.
Does this mean that the public has to pressure the representatives of the competent institutions every day for them to start working, and for work which, by the way, they are paid by the citizens? Do we need to have another crime take place, in the series of – for the public unknown crimes, or, for them to be personally affected in order for them to finally move from the burrows called state institutions and various bodies in which, with their inaction, they are equal to complicity in the crime?
