Defense Minister Radmila Shekerinska and United States Acting Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Mara Karlin will sign a new defense cooperation memorandum on Friday.
U.S. Ambassador Kate Byrnes will attend the signing event, which will take place simultaneously in Skopje and Washington.
This memo will replace the existing one that was signed back in 1994, reflecting the new, exceptionally intensive defense cooperation between the two countries, which remain strategic partners and now NATO Allies, said the Ministry of Defense.
