North Macedonia – European Union Joint Parliamentary Committee will hold its 18th meeting on Thursday.
The meeting will be held remotely under the co-chairmanship of Andreas Schieder for the European Parliament Delegation and Bilal Kasami for the Parliament of Republic of North Macedonia Delegation, the Parliament said in Wednesday’s press release.
The main topic of the Joint Parliamentary Committee meeting includes the state of play of the EU-North Macedonia relations with focus on the outstanding EU acquis implementation, in the presence of Deputy PM for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov and Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani on behalf of the Government of North Macedonia as well as Genoveva Ruiz Calavera, Director for Western Balkans, Directorate General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations on behalf of the European Commission and Marko Makovec, Deputy Managing Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans, Turkey and United Kingdom on behalf of the External Action Service.
