A new meeting between the Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and the President of Alternativa Afrim Gashi is scheduled for today at 14 pm in the Club of MPs in Skopje for the inclusion of the party in the Government and the parliamentary majority.

The meeting was confirmed by both the Government and Alternative.

– There will be a meeting today at 14 pm in the Club of MPs, in the same format as the previous time. This time, too, no statements are planned for the media, and we will inform about the conclusions from the meeting through a statement, say the Government.

Earlier, Prime Minister Zaev and Gashi met on Monday, when, according to a statement sent by the government press service after its completion, the program part of the possible future cooperation of Alternative in the Government was agreed in principle and that consultations on personnel decisions are ongoing. It was then announced that the consultations in the parties will be followed by a new working meeting with the teams.

At Monday’s meeting, Prime Minister Zaev was accompanied by Deputy Finance Minister Dimitar Kovacevski and Alternative Gashi leader by party Secretary General Bekim Sali.

This was their second meeting, after discussing the conditions and the role of Alterantiva in the new parliamentary majority on the 19th of this month, and the final decision was left to the party authorities.

The Central Presidency of Alternative last Friday authorized Gashi to start talks with all political actors, the Prime Minister and the possible new prime minister to see what is their concept for overcoming the political crisis, while at the session of the Central Board of SDSM, which was held On the same day, Zaev’s resignation from the party’s leadership position was confirmed, but he was given legitimacy to lead the negotiations for a parliamentary majority.
