A total of 23,924 citizens have registered for the for COVID-19 vaccine online, the Health Ministry told MIA on Thursday.
The website, which launched on Wednesday, allows everyone to apply for vaccination, while the system generates priority groups.
In addition to online COVID-19 vaccine registration, the sign up will be possible via the MyAppointment system.
Health authorities have specified how the vaccination process will be carried out, with the first phase of vaccination involving frontline healthcare workers and seniors aged 70 and above.
8,000 Pfizer vaccines from Serbia are expected to arrive in North Macedonia in the next few days, while 200,000 COVID-19 vaccines produced by China’s pharmaceutical company Sinopharm should be here by mid-February.
North Macedonia will also procure shots directly from Pfizer, as well as via the COVAX facility.
