NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has condemned the violence unfolding in Washington after a mob of pro-Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol.
He called it ‘shocking’.
“Shocking scenes in Washington, D.C. The outcome of this democratic election must be respected,” Stoltenberg tweeted.
Numerous world leaders, including key leaders in Europe, and top officials of EU institutions, have been condemning the storming of the US Capitol.
