The agreements refer to states, not governments, stressed the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in an interview with Mega TV, regarding the latest developments in our country and the Prespa Agreement, said the MIA correspondent from Athens.
Mitsotakis reiterated his position that from the moment the Agreement is ratified, they will implement it.
“Despite the weaknesses I pointed out in the Agreement, I have never deceived anyone and from the beginning I said that from the moment this Agreement is ratified in the Greek Parliament, I am obliged to implement it and monitor its implementation very carefully,” Mitsotakis said.
He added that “the monitoring of this process is related to the question of when the three memoranda with our country will be adopted for ratification in the Parliament.”
To the journalist’s comment that “so far there have been no problems in Northern Macedonia” and yet they were not put on the agenda, Mitsotakis briefly replied that they will assess it in due course.
