The Defence Ministry’s medical workers who are treating COVID-19 patients will be rewarded, it has been decided.
The reward will range from 20,000 denars (EUR 325) to 30,000 denars (EUR 500) depending on their medical specialization.
“The government has approved Defence Minister Radmila Shekerinska’s proposal on paying the Ministry’s medical personnel one-time monetary reward for being included in the treatment of COVID-19 patients,” said the Ministry.
In the past few months, it added, a majority of the medical staff of the Military Medical Center have been actively on the frontlines in the fight against the new coronavirus, treating patients at the Public Health Center, 8 September General Hospital, Clinic of Infectious Diseases, etc.
