Following the visit to Serbia, Merkel will travel to Tirana, where tomorrow in addition to meeting with the Albanian Prime Minister, she will also meet with the heads of government of North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
In Belgrade, Merkel will have several meetings where talks are expected on the bilateral relations and the Berlin process, especially on the Open Balkans initiative. Additionally, the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina are also expected to be discussed, especially after the appointment of Christian Schmidt as new High Representative of the international community.
