The mass vaccination of population begins in the capital Skopje and six regional centers across the country – Kumanovo, Shtip, Kavadarci, Tetovo, Ohrid and Bitola – on Tuesday.
10,000-15,000 people are to be inoculated daily, with authorities expecting a high percentage of vaccinated population by the start of the summer.
Meanwhile, the number of cases is dropping and the pressure on hospitals is easing. Therefore, the Crisis HQ has proposed that the curfew begins at 11 pm and ends at 5 am on the following day, with outdoor areas of bars and restaurants to close at 10.30 pm. If adopted by the Government, these measures will apply as of Wednesday.
