Our task is to remain committed to the realization of the “One Society for All” strategy with which we are bringing Macedonian society closer to European values. We are building a society based on equality, tolerance, diversity and dialogue, and a society which respects individual and collective identities, as well as the values of multiculturalism, said Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European affairs, Bojan Marichikj, in his introductory address at the session of the permanent operational body for the development of the concept of one society for all and interculturalism, transmits News Agency MIA.
“The respect for different cultural and traditional values is one of the key values in the EU. Joint efforts always bear results when all participants in the process have the same goal. Therefore, the goal of this Government is Euro-integration, i.e. full-fledged EU membership by 2030, which is feasible with the unity and consensus of all political entities, all political societal structures, business communities and individuals,” said Marichikj.
At the session, the members of the permanent operational body voiced their positions on the strategy and contributed to the discussion, with their input set to be taken into account in the future drafting of the strategy, said the press release.
