Croatian experience in conducting EU accession negotiations is very useful to North Macedonia, and the support is valuable, Justice Minister Bojan Marichikj said during a meeting with his Croatian counterpart Ivan Malenica in Zagreb on Friday.
Talks focused on further deepening cooperation between the two countries regarding the rule of law.
“Croatian experts are already working on several projects in our country aimed at strengthening the rule of law and judicial reform. Croatia’s support, especially on the European integration path, is very valuable to us. Zagreb’s continued support, regardless of who’s in power, is a decision made by true friends. What we need to do in the future is to further deepen cooperation regarding the rule of law,” Marichikj said.
He invited his Croatian counterpart to visit North Macedonia.
As part of his two-day visit to Croatia, Marichikj held meetings at the Judicial Academy of Croatia, visited the Croatian State Prosecutor’s Office for the Suppression of Organized Crime and Corruption (USKOK), and also held several meetings at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
