The situation is under control and all those who showed symptoms have been immediately sent for hospital treatment, said Justice Minister Bojan Marichikj regarding the COVID-19 situation in prisons.
“By Friday, there were eight inmates in the Idrizovo prison who tested positive and about 60 in isolation. Some of those in isolation will be transferred to other penitentiaries for the purpose of ensuring proper treatment,” said Minister Marichikj during a visit to the Shtip prison.
