Two citizens from the Republic of North Macedonia have misled health workers in Serbia, managing to receive a vaccination certificate, although not being vaccinated, reports MIA correspondent from Belgrade.
The incident took place on Saturday around 12pm at the Sports Hall in Vranje at the main vaccination point in that city, confirmed the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in that city.
Two citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia from Skopje, aged 54 and 40, after a medical examination and receiving a vaccination certificate left the Sports Hall, although they were not vaccinated.
According to Miodrag Stojanovic, Spokesperson of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Vranje, the citizens from North Macedonia were stopped at the Preshevo border crossing, when they were arrested for the crime presenting validated false content and were interrogated and fined 60.000 dinars each for humanitarian needs.
– The two citizens of North Macedonia (54) and (40), from Skopje, came to the Sports Hall in Vranje, and then misled the health workers in allowing them to fill out the consent for vaccination against covid-19, so after the medical examination and receiving the vaccination certificate they left the Sports Hall without receiving the vaccine, after which they were stopped at the Presevo border crossing, when they were arrested for the crime presenting validated false content, and after the application of the principle of opportunity they fulfilled the required basis with payment for humanitarian needs in the amount of 60.000 dinars, is stated in the statements of the Spokesperson of the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Vranje, Miodrag Stojanovic.
