The conference “Macedonian Perspectives: How to Get to Europe?” organized by CIVIL and the Macedonian Center for International Cooperation (MCIC) will take place on July 4, at hotel Continental, beginning at 11.
Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, several ambassadors of EU member states, party leaders, experts and representatives of civil society will talk about important aspects of Macedonian perspectives, experiences, tasks, challenges and benefits of EU and NATO integration, the agreement with Greece, and the need from building good neighborly relations.
This conference will be a great opportunity to publicly exchange opinions and approaches in a deliberative discussion, involving a wide range of stakeholders and decision makers. This is a contribution of CIVIL and MCIC to strengthening of public awareness on the most current issues in the society, in the face of the important decisions that need to be taken at the state level, but in which the citizens and the citizens will be part of the decision making process. This conference favors political dialogue and fact-based discussion, as opposed to violence, hate speech and fake news.
The conference is part of the project “Free Media for Free Society” implemented by CIVIL with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany.
