Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi is set to present the US corporation Lear with a permit for opening its new manufacturing plant at an official event Wednesday.
The company will open its new factory in the Tetovo’s Technological Industrial Development Zone.
An investment worth 15 million euros, it is the second manufacturing plant Lear has built in the free zone, taking up an area of 8,000 square meters. Lear is a world leader in manufacturing car seats for high performance vehicles. Its first plant in Tetovo makes car seat covers and car accessories for export.
