The Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski, today opened the “Open Balkans” summit, convinced that this initiative will be further expanded and will help integrate the Western Balkans into the European Union.
“We help each other and want to move forward. We are here to support mobility and business development in the region. The Open Balkans gained support from business, which agreed that the Open Balkans is a very good opportunity. and block each other,“ the Albanian TV Top Channel reports.
The Prime Minister of North Macedonia reiterated the invitation to the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who has so far refused to join the “Open Balkan” initiative.
“We convey a clear message today: Our EU membership is of particular importance. Western Balkans to become part of the EU. We must act in a European way and not get stuck. Our vision is to be integrated into the EU. We will have bigger investments, we ask the EU to support us. In the Open Balkans we are convinced that this initiative will become more and more active. The Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazovi, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, are with us today. The invitation to Kosovo is still open!”
