“In order for there to be no doubts, gossips and speculations and spins, I, Kastriot Rexhepi, ally of my fellow citizens, both Albanians and Macedonians, and of all who have a vision into the future, a strategic ally of the US, in the interest of my country, RN Macedonia and in the interest of my own people, voluntarily and decisively took refuge on the day of the vote of no confidence in the government, so as not to allow in the wave of local elections for our country to go in a direction opposite to my ideological beliefs”, stated Rexhepi at a press conference.
As to the journalist question whether he would swear that he had not received monetary compensation for his action on Thursday, when at a session for a vote of no confidence in the current government he did not appear, Rexhepi swore and stated that he did not vote for no confidence because it was not his ideology, and did not attend the session, that is, he took refuge in a safe location due to safety reasons.
“Prime Minister Zaev withdrew the resignation, Zhelino was resolved, namely, there was no re-election there, and I do not understand why they cannot wait until December 14 to see what is going to happen. I could have not hindered the integration process with my own hand” added among else Rexhepi.
Replying to a journalist question whether he will transfer to the lines of DUI, Rexhepi stated that he still is a member and MP of the BESA Movement, and that he still has not received any decision from his party or from the Parliament for his exclusion.
