Around 11.00 pm (March 10), there was a strong explosion near the student dormitory on Sava in Zagreb, which disturbed residents of the nearby buildings, reported Jutarnji. The administration for emergency services immediately went to the scene, and according to initial information from eyewitnesses and officials, it seems that it concerns some kind of plane. Also, firefighters have received a report about a parachute having been found on a tree.
Police and firefighters were on the ground and immediately cordoned off the area around the big hole in the asphalt. “Jarunska” Street and the parking lot are full of debris, and there are damaged cars.
According to unconfirmed reports of eyewitnesses, but also from the video that Jutarnji List received, parts of a plane can be seen at the place where the explosion had taken place.

According to readers of the portal, the explosion could be heard up to Zagreb’s Treshnjevka, in the center of Zagreb. The editorial office of Jutarnji also received testimonies that something fell from the sky only 30 meters from the pavilions of the “Stjepan Radic” student dormitory.
